butter or margarine, softened |

granulated sugar |

1 1/2 |

vanilla extract |

salt |

all-purpose
flour |

package) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, divided |

cup |
chopped nuts |
Procedures:

1 |
BEAT
butter, sugar, vanilla extract and salt in large mixer bowl. |
|
2 |
Gradually beat in flour. |
|
3 |
Stir
in 1 1/2 cups morsels and nuts. |
|
4 |
Press
into ungreased 15 x 10-inch jelly-roll pan. |
|
5 |
BAKE
in preheated 375° F. oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until
golden brown and set. |
|
6 |
Cool
until just slightly warm. |
|
7 |
MICROWAVE remaining morsels in heavy-duty plastic bag on
HIGH (100%) power for 30 to 45 seconds; knead. |
|
8 |
Microwave at additional 10- to 20-second intervals, kneading
until smooth. |

9 |
Cut
tiny corner from bag; squeeze to drizzle over cookie. |
|
10 |
Allow
chocolate to cool and set; break cookies into irregular
pieces. |
|
11 |
NOTE:
Omitting nuts could cause cookie to become dry. |
